Important Information for Clinicians
These resources have been developed by NHS clinicians with funding from the Ménière’s Society, and filming/editing by Manchester University's media team as a free resource to be used as part of a tailored vestibular rehabilitation plan.
By using these resources with your patients you are agreeing to the following:
That you:
- Are responsible for recommending appropriate exercises to your patient, at the right time, following BSA guidance with regard to rehabilitation principles.
- Will take into account your patients individual's needs and level of ability, including any contraindications.
- Will provide safety information (which it is your patients' responsibility to follow).
- May choose to give spoken and/or written instructions/other resources as well as the videos in order to support rehabilitation.
- Are aware of the content of any videos you recommend.
- Will inform your patient that the resources have been tailored to their individual balance problems, and that links for these resources should not be passed on to others.
